Meet the Vicar

Hello, I'm Gary Cregeen, and this is my wife Julie, I am the Vicar of Scotby & Cotehill with Cumwhinton and I'd like to welcome you to our web site. We hope that you find this site an interesting read and that you find many resources that will help you in your life's walk. We are committed to giving every person within our community (and our cyber community) the opportunity to find out more about Jesus. We all have big questions about life. What is life all about? Why am I here? What will happen when I die? These are all questions that are important to every one of us.

We are committed to serving our communities and helping people wrestle with these key life questions. Together, we're working to become the kind of church described in the Bible-a church with relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for people in need. In short, we'd like to have the kind of Christianity that can influence and encourage our whole community, one life at a time. And we'd like to give you the opportunity to be involved in that through this site.

So whether you're seriously seeking God, or someone who's just starting to ask questions about God, or even a committed Christian who wants to drive the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home at All Saints’ Church, Scotby and St’ John’s Church, Cotehill with Cumwhinton.

We hope you enjoy visiting this site knowing that you would be welcome to visit us in person at events and activities on Sundays or during the week. May God bless you.
