Coffee Pot

A warm welcome awaits you at… ‘Coffee Pot’

In 1990, following some thoughts on providing a focal point for people to meet in Scotby village, the Thursday Coffee Pot was established in the Parish Centre. From 10 am to noon, each Thursday, there is a welcome to anyone who wishes to call in for coffee, tea, a chat or just simply to meet friends.

There has never been any charge for the refreshments although there is provision to make a simple donation which goes to a nominated cause when sufficient funds have been collected. Over the last thirteen years many local bodies and international agencies, such as Eden Valley Hospice, Diabetes UK, Raleigh International, Help Romania, and Tear Fund have benefited by the kindness and generosity of the people of Scotby and others who ‘pop-in’ to Coffee Pot. Currently all proceeds are going the Eden Valley Hospice’s ‘Jigsaw Appeal’.

There are also photocopying facilities available to the public at the Parish Centre, along with a laminating service. The copying is done for you and can meet your needs from a single copy to many hundreds from one source document. We can laminate documents up to A3 size.

Whether you have only a couple of minutes, a couple of hours, or you simply need a document copying please do please call at the Parish Centre on Scotby Village Green any Thursday morning and enjoy the hospitality and fellowship within the recently refurbished and comfortable surroundings.
